LRE Invest Africa carried out a visit to mining operations in the region, accompanying the full cycle of work on the ground, from extraction through the stages that follow. The visit gave the team a close, practical view of how the sector operates today and where investment and modernisation can make the greatest difference, reinforcing the company’s commitment to working directly alongside operators and local communities.
Among LRE’s priority projects is the automation of mining through technology, bringing greater efficiency, safety and traceability to every stage of the process. By combining responsible extraction with modern systems, LRE Invest Africa aims to raise the standard of mining in Uganda and the region, generating value that is at once economic, social and environmental, with Uganda as the gateway to the wider continent.
